UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA, SAN DIEGO HOUSING "THE STRAND": I was extremely fortunate to be involved with the architectural and interior team
from the start. Which made the graphics much more seamless with the entire space for this housing project. The Strand, 7 buildings total with a Market, Bistro, Ecoflats
and Laundry, is about connectivity and the focus of the main sidewalk that goes from one end of campus to the next and connecting all in between. The graphics we felt
should convey simplicity and boldness, not to take away from the architecture but to compliment it. Vinyl adhesives, painted aluminum letters, large letters and paint are
just a few of the techniques used as well as all customary silhouettes of our team inside the elevators and lobbies.
